In this message from the series “Who is this God?”, we explore how our Creator is motivated by grace and love. The sermon answers one central question: What are the four primary gifts God has given to humanity?
• These foundational gifts are identified as:
◦ Jesus Christ: The first and primary gift, given out of God’s love for the world—a grace given “before the beginning of time”.
◦ The Holy Spirit: The second gift is the person of the Holy Spirit, who pours God’s love into our hearts.
◦ The Physical Universe: The gift of creation was perfectly prepared for us before we existed, with everything fine-tuned for life, from the earth’s orbit and seasons to the air we breathe.
◦ Human Life in God’s Image: The gift of being created for a two-way, conversational relationship with God. The masterpiece of this gift is the human brain, which gives us the unique capacity to think, imagine, and plan for the future.
