This week, we explored the profound importance of love and care within the Christian community, emphasising that pastoral care is the responsibility of every believer, not just church leaders. We delved into scriptures highlighting mutual involvement, spiritual nourishment, and the definition of true discipleship through love. The message challenged us to actively serve, support, and encourage one another, demonstrating God’s perpetual love. Practical ways to express this love were discussed, including hospitality, bearing burdens, prayer, and reaching out to all members. Ultimately, the sermon called us to obey the Lord’s greatest commandment to love God and our neighbour, affirming that faith without action is meaningless and that our love for one another is our greatest test of faith.
