This week we delved into a thought-provoking message that challenged the prevailing notion of independence, both in society and within the church. We learned that while striving for self-reliance might seem advantageous, it can subtly hinder true freedom, foster division, and contribute to mental health struggles. The sermon passionately asserted that genuine liberation and profound spiritual growth arise from a radical dependence on Christ and a deep interdependence within our faith community. We were called to release our independent spirit, commit to consecration, and wholeheartedly embrace Jesus’s teachings on unity and mutual care. This powerful call to action revealed that by living in Christ-dependence and loving one another, we embody His presence, becoming the answer to the challenges of our world and paving the way for God’s miraculous work among us.
